Year 10’s worked on a Landscape project whilst I was at St Anne’s Academy. The artists we looked at included Teresa Cole and Hannah Lamb, a printmaker and textile artist respectively. The students explored printmaking techniques such as monoprinting and collage to create their imaginary landscapes. We also worked with dip-dyed textiles using natural dyes such as onion skin dye to create a textured surface onto which the students re-printed ideas. I loved working with my mentor on the project and seeing how much the students loved her! We had a great time. I will miss that team x
