Last year, we participated in the Something Useful Residency project, in India. Based at VNSGU for 3-months we worked with students on drawing, printmaking and singing projects. The work was exhibited in India and now one-year-on, developments and reflections will be shown again in Hoxton, London, at Standpoint Gallery. PREVIEW October 14th 6pm – 9.30pm and by appointment afterwards. In collaboration with the Geoffery Museum we will be delivering participatory workshops with local women’s groups on self-expression, drawing and printmaking. The works on paper explore co-existence and how we might live together better, in association. With special thanks to Something Useful Project, Darpana Academy of Performing Arts and Standpoint Gallery. We’re looking forward to seeing you there. Some close friends and family have supported us through the challenges of making this work. Compassion workshops for women 17th October 1pm -3pm and Empathy workshops for children 24th October 10am-3pm.
