Before lock-down Year 6 were working on their Moon Bowls as part of a project with Keilder Forest. Peter Sharpe is a curator of the Art and Architecture project and we worked together to deliver a 2 day workshop to all of our 4 Year 6 classes. Pupils learnt how to make a pinch pot and how to adorn it with pattern. Finally pupils explored the idea of scale and imagined their moon-bowls massive and in situ at Keilder. Thank you Peter for all your hard work! It was fascinating to learn about all of the artists you have worked with to help realise their concepts!
